About
About ADBKit
ADBKit is a free browser workspace for Android phones, tablets and TVs. Open a tab, connect a device over USB or your network, and you get its live screen with mouse and keyboard control, screenshots, screen recording, APK installs, logcat, a shell and a file manager. There is nothing to install for USB and no account to create.
Why we built it
Checking something on a real Android device usually means installing the Android SDK platform-tools, remembering adb commands and switching between a mirroring app, a terminal and a file manager. On a locked-down work laptop you may not be allowed to install any of it. We wanted the everyday parts of that work in one tab that anyone on the team can open.
Who builds it
ADBKit is made by the small independent team behind the ADB Kit app on Google Play. We are Android developers and testers who use these tools every day. ADBKit is not affiliated with Google or with the adbkit npm package.
What we believe in
- Your device data stays with you. Screens, logs, files, APKs and serial numbers travel only between your browser, your computer and your device. We have no server that receives them. See the privacy policy.
- Open about how it works. ADBKit is built on open-source projects, listed on the open-source licenses page, and the source code of the local agent is public at adbkit.com/agent/source.
- Useful for free. Manual control of your own devices is free and needs no account.
- Built for real work, not abuse. We only build multi-device and automation features once we understand the workflow they serve, so they help device labs and QA teams rather than fake engagement or fraud.
